The organizing committee of the Workshop of Operators INTRUS announces, that the fifth anniversary Workshop "INTRUS-2002" will be held again in Dubna, Moscow region from 17th to 20st September 2002. (Moscow) [http://www.zenon.net/] under the auspices of Russian Association for Networks and Services [http://www.rans.ru/].
The topic of the Workshop "Services integration in telecom: perspectives and problems" was suggested by the institutors to the traditional telecommunication operators and Internet-operators, whose core business is providing modern services. Questions that are going to be discussed are tendencies in services development and ways of providing them, technical and technological problems and solutions. Connected to this, possible ways of development of telecom companies - new markets, development of successful segments - are going to be under discussion too.

The workshop is held under the auspices of strategical partners - the biggest in the world and Russia telecommunication companies Cable&Wireless, Telia, Rostelecom, Comstar, RASCOM and companies producing hardware and software Cisco Systems, Hewlett Packard, ALCATEL. Telephone services operators, Moscow and regional Internet-providers, representatives of state and public bodies will take part in the Workshop.
Workshop Programme
The workshop will be held for 3 days. English and Russian are working languages of the Workshop. Simultaneous translation is provided.
The following topics are supposed to be discussed during the Workshop: the main questions and problems of service development in telecommunications in Russia, the questions of collaboration, partnership and integration in work of telecommunication services operators, operators of traditional, cell and IP-telephony, Internet-providers, content-providers and application providers.
Social Programme
Social program includes a welcome party, boat trip down the Volga river, a picnic on a picturesque bank of the Volga, and a closing banquet.
Fees
For foreign participants - US$600. The fee includes:
- Registration fee;
- Transfer from Moscow to Dubna and back;
- Hotel accommodation for 4 days;
- Breakfast, lunch, refreshments during the breaks;
- Banquets and excursions.
Hotel accommodation and meals for accompanying persons are extra charged.
The fee can be paid on registration or transferred to the settlement account of Contact Company.
Workshop Site
The workshop will take place in Dubna, Moscow region in the House of Scientists of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research.
